What is First Light?
First Light introduces new
customers to comics
and graphic novels through review. Each web page will
have a
breakdown of the writer and artist, the publisher, the
main
characters, a brief summary of the storyline, and
excerpts.
For years, we have heard customers say that they
didn't really like a
certain comic, but kept buying it because it "may get
good again".
This mind-set is not good for comics in general,
because when people
are dissatisfied with their purchases, they tend to
leave the market.
We wish to help people to find the books they will
want to read as
soon as they come out. Since the cost of publishing
is going up and
up, we want to make certain that there is real value
to any books that
are purchased through this site.
There are many different ways to buy the books on
First Light. We
